Mother of Viveka killing accused threatens suicide
She maintained that Sunil Yadav was at home the whole day on which Vivekananda was killed
KADAPA: Savitramma, mother of Sunil Yadav, who is in CBI custody as a suspect in Y. S. Vivekananda Reddy murder case, has warned that her entire family will commit suicide if her son is not released within the next 24 hours.
Speaking to reporters on Monday night at Pulivendula, she maintained that Sunil is not guilty of any crime. She maintained that Sunil Yadav was at home the whole day on which Vivekananda was killed. He went to Viveka’s house like many others who had come to know of the murder.
Savitramma maintained that Vivekananda Reddy was like a god to all of them. This was the reason why Sunil had associated himself with Vivekananda. The former minister had even visited their house twice, she stated.
She said there is no truth in the allegation that her son had killed such a good man. On the statement by Rangayya, a watchman at Vivekananda’s house, she asked why Rangayya had not opened his mouth for past two-and-a-half years in this regard. She insisted that her son was innocent.
