CPM attempts to scuttle national meet: Kummanam Rajashekharan
Already the party has launched a campaign alleging that the attack was aimed at Kumanam Rajashekharan.
Thiruvananthapuram: BJP state president Kummanam Rajashekharan has accused the CPM of deliberately creating tension in the state. He said the CPM was showing intolerance towards political opponents especially the BJP. “It seems the CPM wants to create trouble with the aim of disrupting the forthcoming national executive meeting to be held in Kozhikode later this month.”
The BJP leader has pointed out that the attacks on the party workers had grown after the LDF came to power in the state. Besides, the recent crude bomb attack on the BJP state office clearly indicated that the CPM was targeting the leaders as well. Ahead of the national executive, the BJP wants to make a national issue out of the attack on the state office. Already the party has launched a campaign alleging that the attack was aimed at Kumanam Rajashekharan.
The party is citing many reasons to support its argument saying that the state president had left the office just an hour before the incident. Moreover, several calls had been made to ascertain the movement of the state president and his programmes. The BJP wants to make it a political issue and as part of the plan the central leadership is planning to send a delegation of MPs to the state.
