Pro-Hindu leaders in coast get high security

According to sources, a few Hindu outfit leaders on Wednesday and Thursday received calls from police officials who who suggested to them to be alert.

Hindu outfit leaders including Kalladka prabhakar Bhat, Sharan Pumpwell and a few  others have been advised to be 'alert,' and careful in view of the threat perception pertainng to them.

According to sources, a few Hindu outfit leaders on Wednesday and Thursday received calls from police officials who who suggested to them to be alert and careful for a few days. It is believe that the alert is based on a message pased on by Central Intelligence agencies.

It is said that based on this suggestion to keep himself away from his hometown, Mr Prabhakar Bhat has moved out of Kalladka on Thursday. Police security has also been beefed up and new officials and personnel have been deployed at Kalladka.

"I too have received a message to be alert," Vishwa Hindu Parishad(VHP) district president Jagadish Shenava said.

Hindu outfit leaders are said to have followed the instructions and kept themselves away from their regular places.

Police officials however said that they did not have any message about the threat but admitted to providing escort to Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat.

They said that Mr Bhat was provided escort while travelling whenever the threat level was high.
