Gujarat Cong MLA Purushottam Sawariya joins BJP

Gandhinagar: Purushottam Sawariya, a former Congress MLA, joined the BJP on Monday in Gandhinagar.

Sawariya had quit the Congress party last week.

Meanwhile, another Congress leader Jawahar Chavda, also quit the Congress to join BJP ahead of the Lok Sabha polls.

Chavda had tendered his resignation to Assembly Speaker Rajendra Trivedi on Friday.
