“In UP, the state which is crucial in deciding the national verdict, the Congress is trying to defeat the Gathbandhan — the alliance of Samajwadi Party (SP), Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD). In West Bengal, the CPM tried to have alliance with the Congress to defeat the BJP. But they filed candidate against CPM’s candidate Muhammad Salim who has been taking strong stand against the BJP. Through this, the Congress tried to sabotage the alliance. In Delhi, the Congress wiped refused to have alliance with AAP,” alleged Ms Karat.
