WARANGAL: The president of the BRS district unit and the chairman of Mulugu Zilla Parishad, Kusuma Jagadish (44), passed away following a cardiac arrest at a private hospital in Hanamkonda on Sunday.

Several BRS party leaders of the Mulugu district including Ministers, MLAs and MLCs who were his close associates, expressed shock at the sudden demise of Jagadish.

Telangana Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao in a statement, conveyed condolences to the bereaved family members.

KCR appreciated Jagadish's services during the separate Telangana movement and also recalled the active role played by him in strengthening the party in Mulugu district as ZP chairman.

The BRS government will help and support the family members of Kusuma Jagadish in their hard times, KCR assured.
