HYDERABAD: BRS MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha declared that she will again contest from the Nizamabad Lok Sabha seat in the 2024 general election and sounded confident of winning it this time. Speaking at the TRSLP office, Kavitha accused Nizamabad BJP MP D. Arvind of trying to avoid contesting against her in the election this time fearing defeat.

She mentioned that Arvind was even considering contesting from the Korutla Assembly seat this time, but she vowed to defeat him from whichever seat he chooses to contest in the Nizamabad district.

Kavitha criticized the BJP for not making any significant contribution to Telangana's development while pointing to the substantial progress made under the leadership of Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao over the past nine years.

She criticized Arvind for belittling the newly inaugurated IT Tower in Nizamabad. She highlighted that the facility had already provided jobs to 280 youths out of the planned 750, reflecting its positive impact. She urged the youth to respond by voting against Arvind in the upcoming elections.

Kavitha accused Arvind of neglecting Nizamabad's concerns in the Lok Sabha, stating that he spent his time criticizing the Chief Minister and her family instead of addressing district or state issues.

Additionally, she accused BJP MP Bandi Sanjay of spreading falsehoods during his speech on the No Confidence Motion in the Lok Sabha.
