Minister Priyank Kharge Challenges BJP Leaders to Back Allegations of Corruption
KALABURGI: Minister for IT-BT, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Priyank Kharge has challenged BJP leaders to substantiate any allegations of corruption or misconduct with tangible evidence, rather than seeking divine intervention.
He was speaking to reporters in Kalaburagi today.
"In the recent election, the people rejected the 40 percent BJP government and voted us into power in the state. Our administration stands committed to providing transparent governance," he said.
"If the BJP leaders have any claims to make, let them present evidence to support their accusations. We have done so in the past when addressing issues such as the Ganga Kayana and PSI scams. It's only fair that BJP leaders follow the same course. Instead of inviting the temple to depose before God, they should present their case in court. The legal system exists for seeking justice. Just as we had submitted documents and approached the court, they too have the option to do so," he said.
Kharge said that all bills were meticulously scrutinized before being approved.
"Our government operates with complete transparency. Every bill is subject to review. It's important to exercise patience and understanding," he added.
