CM Jagan's Works in Education and Healthcare Changing AP State, Say YSRC Leaders

VIJAYAWADA: YSRC leaders claimed on Friday that Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has brought about revolutionary changes in the education and health sectors of Andhra Pradesh.

YSRC’s Samajika Sadhikara bus yatra, in its 13th day today, was held in Pedakurapadu constituency in Palnadu district. A huge public rally was held in this connection.

The leaders present included ministers Vidadala Rajini and Merugu Nagarjuna as also cine actor Ali, MLA Kolusu Parthasarathy, MLC Dokka Manikya Varaprasad and others. They lashed out at TD chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu, Nara Lokesh and other TD leaders for “destroying AP.”

Actor Ali claimed that the “heart of CM Jagan beats for the underprivileged and the minorities.”

Addressing the gathering, health minister Vidadala Rajini emphasised that social empowerment hinged on the growth of weaker sections. “CM Jagan’s administration spearheaded this social empowerment,” she said.

The minister highlighted initiatives such as AmmaVodi, Nadu-Nedu, Gorumudda, English Medium, BYJUs Tabs, and IFP panels, aimed at fostering educational development, with a belief that education can significantly impact the lives of the underprivileged.

Vidadala Rajini highlighted the chief minister’s transformative efforts in education and healthcare.

Highlighting the significant development works executed in the Pedakurapadu constituency, MLA Namburu Sankara Rao said the YSRC government has resolved long-pending issues. These included the successful completion of the Amaravati-Bellamkonda road that was developed at a cost of '149 crore, easing traffic congestion on the stretch.

The MLA pledged to expedite the process of elevating Amaravati to a municipality. The chief minister had allocated Rs 60 crore for the construction of a bridge linking Krosur to Jaggayapeta, he said.

MLA Kolusu Parthasaradhi thanked the YSRC government and the chief minister for allocating nearly Rs 5 lakh crore towards the uplift of the downtrodden.

Extolling the chief minister’s “visionary commitment to the uplift of the underprivileged children through English-medium education, AP Electronic Media advisor, Ali, praised the comprehensive development of all sectors in the state under Jagan Reddy’s leadership.

Referring to former chief minister late Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy, Ali noted YSR’s prompt approval of '15 lakh as aid for an actor. He said, “It serves as a poignant testament to the compassion that continued to flow in his veins. Such a legacy of that great leader has been carried forward to his son, the present Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy.”

Ali praised the Chief Minister for his sensitivity to understanding the struggles of the impoverished.

MPs Lavu Srikrishna Devarayulu, Nandigam Suresh and Mopidevi Venkataramana, MLAs Kolusu Parthasaradhi, Mohammad Mustafa and Pinneli Ramakrishna and others addressed the public meeting.

YSRC’s Samajika Sadhikara bus yatra was in Parvathipuram constituency in Manyam district (North Zone) and Thamballapalle constituency in Annamayya district (South Zone) on Friday.
