Kakinada: Congress rebel leader and former Amalapuram MP G.V. Harsha Kumar has strongly opposed the entry of Y.S. Sharmila into Andhra Pradesh Congress.

According to him, Sharmila belongs to Telangana and pursued her education in Telangana.

“There is no room for her in Andhra Pradesh,” Harsha Kumar declared. He asked other Congress leaders to also make their response open on the entry of Sharmila into Congress.

The former MP maintained that Dalits in Andhra Pradesh are getting ready to defeat the YSRC headed by Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, as they have suffered several attacks during the YSRC regime.

Though cases had been booked against the accused, none of them had been punished, he stated.

Harsha Kumar announced that he would organise a Dalit Simha Garjana Sabha on February 8 at Rajamahendravaram.
