Hyderabad: Alleging that minister K.T. Rama Rao was getting a 20 per cent as cut for permission given to high-rise residential buildings, PCC chief A. Revanth Reddy dared him to send legal notices for making the claim.

While accusing Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao’s family of amassing wealth in a manner that had no precedent, he felt that the family would leave the country.

Speaking to mediapersons, Revanth Reddy said that he was ready to meet Rama Rao at his chambers with evidence to prove his point. “I shall visit KTR’s chamber and will submit representation as MP with all the evidence. There are multiple instances in Jubilee Hills, Banjara Hills where permission was given flouting norms. I am challenging (KTR). I am ready to face inquiry and consequences. I have all the documents. Time and again I was proved right, including the 25-acres of land in the name of your wife,” he asserted.

Revanth Reddy claimed that the state government had faced a loss of ₹700 cr in the land sanctioned Yashoda Hospital at Hitec City. “The 8 acres of land has a market value of ₹800 crore, the state government faced a loss of ₹700 crore. Of this, five acres which was originally allotted to Alexandria Genome Valley II Tech Parks and Incubators Pvt Ltd in 2010, under Congress government, and 3 acres adjacent to it caught the eye of Jagannatha Rao Kalvakuntla and G. Ravinder Rao, Chairman of the Yashoda Group. Alexandria got into litigation in the High Court and was later arm-twisted to give away the land,” he alleged.
