Jana Sena, Congress, YSRC too to review poll performances
Jana Sena leaders are hopeful of winning the majority of seats.
VIJAYAWADA: The Jana Sena, Congress and YSR Congress are planning to conduct review meetings on the election trends. While the Congress is expected conduct the analysis between May 16 and 19, the Jana Sena is likely to begin the process either on Sunday or Monday and the opposition YSRC on May 16.
Jana Sena leaders are hopeful of winning the majority of seats. They think that Jana Sena president K. Pawan Kalyan will play the role of the kingmaker if the Telugu Desam and the YSR Congress fail to garner majority.
According to sources, Mr Kalyan and other senior leaders will review the Jana Sena position in various constituencies and address cadres on further strengthening the party to win the forthcoming local body and municipal elections.
Former Kerala chief minister Oommen Chandy will review the party’s performance along with Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee president N. Raghuveera Reddy with other senior leaders from May 16 to 19. The Congress leaders will collect information from all candidates to find out the actual feeling of the voters towards the Congress.
Opposition leader and YSR Congress president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy will interact with his party’s candidates and chief agents on May 16 in the YSRC state office at Tadepalli of Amaravati.
Aong with Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy, YSRC MP V. Vijaya Sai Reddy will review booth-wise polling trends with booth in-charges and chief agents. Another meeting with YSRC Assembly and Parliament candidates will be conducted on May 21 at Tadepalli.
