Sack Siddaramaiah from party: KSE to Congress
He claimed that Mr Siddaramaiah would not be the CM again, and Congress president Rahul Gandhi would never get married.
Shivamogga: Senior BJP leader K.S. Eshwarappa on Saturday demanded expulsion of former chief minister Siddaramaiah on grounds that he was responsible for creating uncertainty within the Congress.
He told the media here that KPCC president Dinesh Gundurao should not remain a mere puppet in the chair of KPCC president but should act against Mr Siddaramaiah with an iron hand. He also demanded action against leaders over airing their views that Mr Siddaramaiah should be elected Chief Minister for another term, and accused the leader of day dreaming about occupying the top post and instigating his supporters to issue statements in his support to the media.
According to Mr Eshwarappa, there were many leaders in Congress aspiring for the CM's post with one faction led by Mr Siddaramaiah and another by Mr Dinesh Gundurao. Both these factions are trying to outsmart each other, weakening the party in the process.
He claimed that Mr Siddaramaiah would not be the CM again, and Congress president Rahul Gandhi would never get married. When the state is reeling under drought, Congress leaders are squabbling over power, he added.
