‘Delay in entering politics good for Rajini’
TIRUCHY: Mr. Sathyanarayana Rao, the elder brother of south superstar Rajinikanth, said the actor was still very much keen to enter politics, adding, his delay in entering politics was also good for him (Rajinikanth).
Sathyanarayana, who was here to participate in the 48th day 'Mandala Pooja', the concluding ceremony in connection with the consecration of his parents' memorial at Olaiyur near Tiruchy on Saturday, said the actor was concerned about issues affecting the people of Tamil Nadu.
The actor was most likely to make an announcement on his political entry after May 23, when results of the Lok Sabha elections would be announced, Sathyanarayana said.
He expressed his gratitude to Rajinikanth's noted fan Stalin Pushparaj of Tiruchy who has funded the construction of the memorial for the actor's parents Rambai-Ranojirao.
The memorial is coming up well and Rajinikanth who is now busy with his new movie shooting will visit the memorial soon, Sathyanarayana Rao assured.
Among others, Mr. P. Ayyakannu, state president of the 'Desiya Then Indiya Nathigal Inaippu Vivasayeegal Sangam', and a large number of Rajinikanth fans led by Palakkarai Sakthivel, 'Rajini Fans Association' district executive committee member, participated.
