YSRC seeks Ganesha's blessings for government's schemes

VIJAYAWADA: Ruling YSR Congress has sought Lord Ganesha’s blessings for state government’s welfare schemes, particularly the “Navaratnalu”.
Ruling party leaders led by endowments minister Vellampalli Srinivas Rao organised pooja for Vinayaka at the YSRC party’s central office here on Friday seeking removal of all obstacles in welfare schemes put in by opposition parties, apart from blessings for development programmes of Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Those at the pooja maintained that continuation of welfare schemes is must for YSRC to regain power in future elections. Hence, YSRC has prayed for clearing of obstacles in the way of these programmes.
Those present at the venue on Friday included YSRC MLC Lella Appi Reddy, MLA Malladi Vishnu, Navaratnalu programme executive committee vice chairman Ankamreddy Narayanamurthy and AP SC Corporation chairman K. Kanaka Rao.
Minister Srinivas said they prayed for blessings of Vigneshwar, as their party sincerely wants the entire state to be prosperous without any Vighnas (obstacles).
MLC Appi Reddy accused opposition parties of trying to create obstacles in development of Andhra Pradesh. Hence, he said, they prayed to Ganesha for clearing of all such hurdles.
MLA Malladi Vishnu said he prayed for blessings of Vinayaka for Navaratnalu and other welfare schemes of CM Jagan, so that all people of the state are content and happy.
