Union MoS says Mudiraj voters will help BJP win
Hyderabad: Union minister of state Parshottam Rupala said that the Mudiraj community whose members are spread across the state were joining the BJP, and this would strengthen the party ahead of the Assembly elections.
“My appeal to Telangana is support the BJP in this ‘Amrit Kaal’ under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” Rupala said at an public meeting at Sangareddy where district Mudiraj Sangh president Pulimamidi Raju, a BRS leader, joined the BJP along with many of his followers.
Etala Rajendar, BJP MLA from Huzurabad, who hails from the Mudiraj community, said, “KCR had said that he respects the Mudiraj community. He does not believe in elevating the downtrodden sections and even in Maharashtra where he set up a BRS wing, he appointed his family member as the state party chief,” he said.
“If the BJP comes to power, the pensions will continue, two in a family will get them. Dalit Bandhu will be implemented properly, Rythu Bandhu will be given to farmers and not landlords. And the BJP government at the Centre is working on how to rescue tenant farmers,” he said.
Addressing the meeting, state BJP president G. Kishan Reddy said only the BJP could put an end to the “atrocities of Majlis, the BRS, and Congress.” He said: “BRS and Congress are MIM’s ‘ji huzoor’ parties. Majlis already said it controls the steering of the BRS’ car. KCR and Asaduddin are ruling the state, and Congress is the one that looted the country.”
