Visakhapatnam: AP BJP vice-president P. Vishnukumar Raju is sure of his victory from the Visakhapatnam North assembly constituency.
“Even if Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy contests from the North constituency, I will win the coming election,” he declared Speaking to media on Wednesday at BJP’s North assembly office, Vishnukumar Raju accused Jagan of indulging in revenge politics.
“If anyone criticises the policies of YSRC government, cases are being filed against them. People should throw the YSRC government in the forthcoming elections,” he stated.
The BJP leader reminded media that he had demanded a CBI inquiry into the corruption in liquor sales in AP. But no inquiry has been conducted so far, though cases are being slapped against opposition leaders. He called on people to revolt against the anarchic rule of the YSRC government.
Vishnukumar Raju maintained that BJP has nothing to do with TD chief N. Chandrababu Naidu's arrest. He said his party stays away from personal criticism. It is not good to use nasty words against women in politics, he stated.
