Kavitha says ts is planning new NRI policy

Hyderabad: The Telangana state government has been proposed to bring out a comprehensive policy for the NRIs of the state.

TRS MP K. Kavitha on Saturday said that the party working president K.T. Rama Rao has been working out on the modalities.

Participating at the 8th anniversary of the NRI Cell of the UK at the Telangana Bhavan, she said that the party NRI Cells, which started with the US and UK Cells, has now expanded to 33 countries across the globe. Soon the NRI Cell will be expanded to 100 countries, she added.

The MP said that the state government has already released '100 crore for the welfare of the NRIs of the state and in the new policy the government has planning various welfare measures for the NRIs and also for the Gulf victims.
