Kusum Kumar is AICC observer for Karnataka Assembly elections

HYDERABAD: The Congress on Friday appointed former TPCC former working president Jetti Kusum Kumar as AICC observer for the Mandya Lok Sabha constituency as part of its preparations for the Karnataka Assembly elections scheduled for later this year. AICC general secretary (organisation) K.C. Venugopal issued the orders in this regard.
Kusum Kumar was advised to stay for three to four days a week in the constituency till the completion of the Assembly elections that are expected to be held before May. The first preparatory meeting on the Assembly elections will be conducted at Bengaluru on January 14. Kusum Kumar will coordinate with AICC general secretary and Karnataka in-charge Randeep Singh Surjewala.
