Minister P Narayana says Andhra Pradesh easy for business

Chief Secretary, SP Tucker, said Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has a vision to make Andhra Pradesh number one state.

Visakhapatnam: Andhra Pradesh has a vast pool of resources, including land availability, uninterrupted power supply and connectivity, which is a boon for the investors, said Urban Development Minister P. Narayana.

On Friday, Mr Narayana addressed the US delegation, including representatives of USTDA, US government and private companies who were in Vizag for the MoU signing programme, and explained the advantages of the Sunrise state Andhra Pradesh. On this occasion, Mr Narayana asked the representatives of the consortium to hasten the planning for Vizag Smart City.

US Ambassador to India, Richard Verma, said that they will extend all their help to develop Vizag as a Smart City as agreed by the America President Barak Obama and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

“World-class companies such as IBM, AECOM and KPMG have been providing their technical expertise and planning for Vizag Smart City,” said Mr Verma.

Vizag MP, K. Haribabu, said that Andhra Pradesh has a huge potential to become number one state in the country and all resources. “I ask the businessmen to come forward to invest in AP as the people are friendly, governments are pro-business and people’s representatives are cooperative,” said Mr Haribabu.

“Andhra Pradesh registered a double digit growth last year, which would continue in the coming years,” said Mr Tucker.
