CPM takes a dig at Rajinikanth’s Krishna, Arjuna remarks
The University authorities were functioning as “dancing dolls†of the Union Government, he charged.
TIRUVARUR: Southern superstar Rajinikanth would soon realise that both the Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Mr. Amit Shah are more akin to “Hitler and Mussolini”, opined the CPI(M)’s Tamil Nadu state secretary Mr. K. Balakrishnan.
Taking a dig at Rajinikanth’s remarks at a function in Chennai on Sunday where Mr. Shah launched a book by Vice President M Venkaiyah Naidu that the Modi-Shah’s ‘Mission Kashmir’ reflected a bonding akin to Krishna and Arjuna in the Mahabarata, Mr. Balakrishnan said, “this is my reply to Rajinikanth’s remarks yesterday.”
He strongly condemned the authorities of the Central University, Tiruvarur, for seeking an explanation from 30 of its students who had organised a discussion on the recent developments in the Kashmir issue. The University authorities were functioning as “dancing dolls” of the Union Government, he charged.
