Vijayawada: AICC general secretary, AP Congress affairs incharge and MP Digvijay Singh said he had no role in the state bifurcation. While addressing the AP Congress general body meeting on Tuesday, Mr Singh said he did what the party high command directed him to do and conveyed the opinion of the high command to state leaders as it was and said he had special concern and respect for AP.
He expressed his surprise at the amount of money spent by the TD and YSRC in Nandyal by-polls. He criticised that they had spent state-level election expenditure only on Nandyal bypolls. On preparing roadmap to strengthen the party for future, he asked AP leaders to come to Delhi at the earliest to discuss it with Mr Rahul Gandhi.
