Congress will Usher in Indiramma Rajyam: Revanth
Revanth Reddy warned that there will be no tolerance if those who help Congress are threatened
Hyderabad: TPCC chief A. Revanth Reddy expressed the confidence that the Congress will usher in Indiramma Rajyam in Telangana on December 9 after securing an absolute majority in the Assembly elections. He reiterated that the first file to be signed by the Congress government will pertain to implementation of the Six Guarantees promised to the people on December 9.
He was speaking at a gathering in Gandhi Bhavan after former DCCB chairman Kamatham Srinivas Reddy, son of former minister Kamatham Ram Reddy of Parigi constituency, Sunita Sampath, former municipal chairperson of Tandur constituency, Manakondur MPPs, and leaders and workers from various parties joined Congress in large numbers on Thursday.
Revanth Reddy said, "BRS leaders have filed many cases against Congress workers for years. Good days will come for our party workers. We will hit back at all officials and authorities who have been supporting BRS."
He said that the Congress will demand the Election Commission of India (ECI) to remove DGP Anjani Kumar from the post in order to ensure free and fair elections. He slammed Cyberabad commissioner Stephen Raveendra and former intelligence chief T. Prabhakar Rao for stating that they had spied on Congress leaders and those who favoured the Congress.
Revanth Reddy warned that there will be no tolerance if those who help Congress are threatened.
"K.T. Rama Rao has prepared a list of 75 people who are helping the Congress. He gave that list to Union minister Piyush Goyal. Rao himself is threatening some people," he alleged.
“KTR, you better remember that your power is only for another 45 days. After that, the Congress will come to power. Officials like Arvind Kumar, Jayesh Ranjan and Somesh Kumar are encouraging officials to give 'chandas' (monetary benefit) to the BRS. Officials should act like officials...not like BRS activists" warned Revanth Reddy.
He accused AIMIM chief Akbaruddin Owaisi of talking like Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union minister G. Kishan Reddy and T. Raja Singh.
“They want me to take an oath on Goddess Bhagyalakshmi...I am ready to come to Bhagyalakshmi temple...are you ready?” challenged Revanth Reddy.
