Bandi’s padayatra to change Telangana politics: BJP
Karimnagar: The Praja Sangram Yatra (PSY) of BJP state chief Bandi Sanjay Kumar marked the beginning of a change in the Telangana politics, claimed the party’s vice-president and PSY pramukh Gangidi Manohar Reddy here on Monday.
He along with other BJP leaders performed prayers at the SRR college ground, where a public meeting would be held on December 15 to mark the closing ceremony of the PSY in Karimnagar district.
Reddy alleged that even though KCR’s government created hurdles in the way of the padayatra, it progressed well from Bhainsa to Karimnagar district and would conclude on a grand note. Bandi Sanjay is Karimnagar MP.
Sanjay held the padayatra to end the “morachism and the corrupt and arrogant” family rule of chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and “create confidence among the people for protecting democracy” in the state.
“The Telangana people feel the aspirations and dreams of Telangana martyrs and activists were not fulfilled even after the formation of the Telangana state and the rule of KCR. They feel the BJP can teach a fitting lesson to the TRS party,” he claimed.
BJP national president JP Nadda would address the public meeting on the final day of the padayatra.
District BJP president G Krishna Reddy, Verendar Reddy, Balakrishna Reddy, K Shankar, Rani Rudrama, D Shankar. K Ramgopal, B Praveen Rao, T Srinivas, K Vasudeva, B Satyanarayana, R Prasad, B Kalyan and K Lokesh were among those present.
