Ruckus at K Siddaramaiah's meeting

Anantapur: An embarrassing situation occurred for former Karnataka Chief Minister K. Siddaramaiah, who returned without addressing a meeting of the Kuruba Sangham on Sunday, when a group of young men created a nuisance by shouting slogans in favour of former circle inspector Gorantla Madhav seeking priority for him. Incidentally, Madhav is all set to join the YSRC.
The Kuruba Sangham meeting was organised by the district Kuruba Sangham at the Junior College grounds on Sunday.
Mr Siddaramaiah and former Karnataka minister Revanna were chief guests. Local Kuruba leaders led by Penukonda MLA B.K. Parthasarathi, former mayor Rage Parasuram and others made the arrangements for the meeting accompanied by district and state leaders.
When former minister Revanna was addressing the gathering, Gorantla Madhav, who recently resigned as circle inspector and has plans to enter politics, arrived at the venue. He is all set to join the YSRC. When Madhav arrived, a few young men shouted slogans and disrupted Revanna’s speech.
The organisers invited Madhav on to the stage, but a group of people continued shouting slogans in his favour.
