He was speaking at the Hylam Colony in Jubilee Hills and Sundarayya Park in Bagh Lingampally where the yatra was held.
He highlighted various schemes like Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana for affordable housing, '5 lakh health insurance under Ayushman Bharat, PM Swanidhi Yojana which provides loans for business purposes to street vendors, Jeevan Jyothy Bima Yojana, insurance with a small premium, and PM Mudra for small business loans without collateral.
“The poor are very close to the heart of our PM and that is why he has made a provision of 5 kg for 5 years of free rations to all the poor,” Singh said.
The minister said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India was becoming a superpower. “We have made the country strong. Our enemies have stopped carrying out terrorist attacks. We have given a befitting reply whether it is Pakistan or China,” he said.
“Today India is the fifth largest power in the world. Our core philosophy is to make India strong. The second core belief is to bring the poor out of poverty. Every poor person should have access to food, electricity and water,” Singh said.
