May God give AH Vishwanath good sense: Siddaramaiah
Won’t go against coalition dharma, will take up the issue at next meet of coordination committee, said Siddaramaiah.
Bengaluru: A day after state JD (S) president A H Vishwanath taunted CLP leader Siddaramaiah with acerbic comments, the Kuruba strongman said he would restrain himself as it would go against the coalition dharma but would take up the latest episode in the next meeting of the coordination committee.
An agitated Mr Siddaramaiah took to twitter to express his ire against his former aide turned foe and would raise the issue with members of the coordination committee.
He said: “Vishwanath is notorious for making such statements. I pray to god to give him good sense. I will raise this issue in the co-ordination committee meeting. First came G.T. Deve Gowda and now Mr Vishwanath. I do not know who’s next. It is better for JD (S) leaders (H.D. Deve Gowda and H.D. Kumaraswamy) to pay attention to this (Mr Vishwanath’s statement).”
Congress leaders, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, said perhaps Mr Kumaraswamy attempted to fire at Mr Siddaramaiah over Mr Vishwanath’s shoulder as the chorus in support of the CLP leader was spiralling before counting of votes polled in the two phase polls to Lok Sabha.
