MK Stalin vows to remove AIADMK govt with support of people

Chennai: DMK working president M.K. Stalin on Tuesday said reports of AIADMK bribing its MLAs for voting in the Assembly had surfaced and asserted that he would remove the government with people's support.
Reports of cash and gold payment to AIADMK legislators first appeared in Tamil bi-weekly Nakkeeran immediately after the confidence vote. Similar reports had resurfa-ced in English media now.
Citing the reports, Stalin, in a statement here said the AIADMK had buried democracy and the continuation of the government is unconstitutional. Stalin said he would appeal to all the Constitutional authorities about the bribery charges.
Coming out with a similar reaction, PMK youth wing leader Anbumani Ramadoss said the reports are known to the people and there is nothing new. But, he claimed that evidence had surfaced for the charges. He asserted that the corrupt government should not continue in power and demanded filing of cases against the MLAs.
