Naidu Day-Dreaming About Becoming CM Again: Minister Botsa
VISHAKHAPATNAM: Education Minister Botsa Satyanarayana said on Friday that “Chandrababu Naidu is day-dreaming” about becoming chief minister again. "He can never again become CM,” he said.
Criticising the Telugu Desam chief in Srikakulam, Satyanarayana said, “Naidu can never tell us what he did for AP. Throughout his career, he has been telling lies. Naidu robbed the people while he was CM.”
Botsa told the media that state TD president K Atchannaidu was making senseless political statements. “He should explain to the people what TD did to the people during their tenure.”
Earlier, at a meeting held in the Zilla Parishad Hall on the development of Amadalavalasa, the minister told the contractors to complete all the works on government buildings by the end of this month. He said there was no dearth of funds and their bills would be cleared immediately.
“Since the constituency is being represented by the Speaker, all the development works should be completed on time,’’ Satyanarayana said while reviewing the works of housing, power supply, education and agriculture departments.
He said that, from now on, a constituency-wise review would be taken up every Friday to assess the backlog of works. He told the contractors and engineers to consult the district collector or the Speaker if they faced any problem while executing the works.
Speaker Sitaram said efforts were being made to make Amadalavalasa constituency a role model in the state. Priority was given to works of RBKs, Anganwadi centres, Sachivalay buildings and health clinics.
District collector Srikesh Lathkar and senior officials of the district were present.
