Revanth dares KCR to contest from Gajwel
HYDERABAD: “If Telangana state Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao is sure about having delivered on his promises, why is he not confident of contesting from Gajwel? Why is getting surveys done in nearby constituencies? If he is not sure of winning as an MLA from his own constituency, what does it tell about what is going to happen in the elections ahead?” asked TPCC chief A. Revanth Reddy at a presser on Thursday here.
“Why is KCR not saying he will contest from Gajwel? Let him say so,” Reddy dared.
“If the BRS government has delivered on all promises, if it sure it has given 24-hours free power, if it has given Dalit Bandhu to all, if it has given 2BHK houses if it has given jobs to each household, if there is no corruption in Dalit Bandhu, or if there is not a scam in Dharani, then let him give tickets to all MLAs,” he said.
Reddy further alleged that in a recent survey commissioned by the BRS, to which Rao and other party leaders were privy to, over 80 MLAs were at the risk of losing, and the constituencies where the BRS could lose included Gajwel.
Reddy also castigated the BJP, saying they are now supporting the corruption of BRS because it is their B-team. “Why is the BJP not taking action on corruption by the KCR government?”
