Ensure Visakha Garjana is successful, YV Subba Reddy tell party workers

Vishakapatnam: Regional coordinator of the YSRC for Vizag, Anakapalli and ASR districts Y.V. Subba Reddy has appealed to the party workers to ensure the success of Visakha Garjana being held on October 15.

Subba Reddy reviewed the arrangements for the rally at the party office in Visakhapatnam along with minister Gudivada Amarnath and local MLAs.

Speaking on the occasion, Subba Redy said Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has initiated three capital concepts in the very first year of his office but the Opposition has been trying to stall the process.

“North Andhra people are not opposing the development of Amaravati. Why are people of Amaravati opposing the development of north Andhra,’’ Reddy asked.

He said even the Sivaramakrishnan commission had suggested decentralisation but the Opposition was trying to do real estate business out of Amaravati after making it the capital. Amaravati will be useful for only a handful of people, he added.

He appealed to people to converge at Ambedkar statue at LIC building at 9 am and participate in the rally that will culminate into a public meeting at YSR statue near the Park Hotel on the Beach Road.
