Congress buying votes in TS with money from Karnataka: KTR

 Hyderabad: BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao on Friday alleged that the Congress party, which takes 50 per cent commission from businessmen in Karnataka, arranged Rs 42 crore cash which was seized by income-tax department officials in Bengaluru.

The Congress, which defeated the BJP government that collected 30 per cent commission, sent 'eight crore to the  TPCC chief A. Revanth Reddy and the remaining cash was seized in Bangalore. The BRS working president also alleged that the seized cash was supposed to be sent to Telangana for Congress party to spend in ensuing elections.

"The intellectually bankrupt Congress party and its leadership is pumping hundreds of crores of rupees from Karnataka to purchase votes in Telangana. Their PCC Chief was the one who was caught on camera bribing in the ‘cash for vote’ scam and now since this criminal is now leading the pack of thugs," Rao said.

Similarly, senior BJP leader P. Muralidhar Rao also alleged that the income-tax department officials conducted raids on a contractor's residence in Bengaluru and found unaccounted cash of Rs 42 crore, that was meant for Telangana.
