TD spreading false info' about Naidu's health, says YSRC
Jail staff provide round-the-clock medical care and home food for Chandrababu Naidu
Vijayawada: YSRC general-secretary Sajjala Ramakrishna has condemned the “false propaganda” of the Telugu Desam that jailed Chandrababu Naidu’s health deteriorated in the central jail. “Fact is, Naidu has gained a weight of one kg,” he told the media here on Friday.
The YSRC leader noted that Chandrababu was a prisoner on remand, which meant a punishment. “The prison is not the house of Babu's mother-in-law, to get for him all the luxuries. Lalu Prasad and Omprakash Chautala, older than Chandrababu, were in jail. Age does not matter.”
“Chandrababu’s family members are saying there is no AC-room for Naidu in the Rajahmundry prison. They say he suffered from dehydration and his life is in danger. All these are false propaganda.”
“Lokesh tweeted that someone was trying to kill his father by giving him steroids in jail and that his father is being bitten by mosquitoes and that he got skin allergy. The jail authorities are providing as many facilities as possible to Chandrababu.
“A barrack in the central prison has been completely vacated and medical experts are available there round-the-clock. Food and drinking water are allowed from home. What more does the family expect of him to have,” Sajjala asked.
“Naidu gained one kg weight after he was lodged in the prison. This was confirmed by the DIG, Prisons, on Friday.
The YSRC leader said, “TD leaders say IT notices to Naidu were issued by the YSRC government. Does the IT department work under the State or central government? The IT department has issued notices to Naidu in respect of '118 crore of his funds. With the IRR Alignment scam, only 25 cents were lost instead of 10 acres of Heritage lands, which is clear evidence in the scam.”
Ramakrishna Reddy said that none of the opposition leaders has a house in Andhra Pradesh. They are visitors here.”
