Avoid Kaun Banega CM Show: KTR
Congress and BJP, bringing leaders from other states to campaign for them: KTR
Hyderabad: BRS working president and minister K.T. Rama Rao on Tuesday said that people will be forced to witness a ‘Kaun Banega CM’ spectacle if the Congress is voted to power in the Assembly elections with prospects of a new Chief Minister every six months.
Addressing a gathering in Nakrekal during a road show, Rama Rao said the people should not only beware of Congress’ Six Guarantees that will be impossible to implement, but also that party’s leaders fighting amongst themselves and changing Chief Ministers every six months.
The Congress, he said, gets Chief Ministers appointed through sealed covers from Delhi, while Telangana already has Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao, who will be scoring a hat-trick with BRS winning the elections.
“The fact that the Congress and the BJP are bringing leaders from Delhi and other states to campaign for them shows that they do not have anyone who can measure up to KCR,” he said.
Later, addressing a meeting of the Telangana State Handloom and Textile Weavers Association in Nagole in the city, Rama Rao reiterated the BRS’ commitment to implement a loan waiver for weavers.
In the third term after the elections, the BRS government will also increase Chenetha Mitra assistance from the present Rs 3,000 to Rs 5,000. He also promised that more textile manufacturing facilities on the lines of the textile park in Warangal would be set up in Nalgonda, Dubbak, Narayanpet, Gadwal, and Munugode.
