Muralidhar: Will contest in next elections
Hyderabad: The BJP’s Madhya Pradesh state in-charge P. Muralidhar Rao said that he will contest in the elections. “I will prefer to contest in Parliament elections, but if the party high command directs me I will be fight in Assembly polls,” he said.
Speaking to reporters on Wednesday, he said that the MIM is acting as per the direction of Chief Minister K. Chandrahekar Rao. The MIM may not contest in 50 Assembly constituencies in the state, he said.
There are speculations that Muralidhar Rao would contest as BJP MP candidate from the Malkajgiri Lok Sabha constituency. Reacting on this, he said that the BJP will accommodate new leadership in the party. Old cadre of the party is comfortable with the new joining of the leaders, he said. There is no impact of the Left in Telangana state, Muralidhar Rao opined.
