Though YSRC had majority voters but the party leadership failed to keep the flock together.
Anantapur: YSRC chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy arrived in Pulivendula in Kadapa district as part of his two-day visit in his home turf Kadapa on Friday. It was his first visit after party candidate and his uncle Y.S. Vivekananda Reddy lost in the Kadapa district MLC poll from the local bodies quota. The YSRC had majority voters but the party leadership failed to keep the flock together, resulting in a victory for the TD's B.Tech Ravi. Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy and Vivekananda Reddy paid floral tributes to the Ambedkar statue at Pulivendula.
The YSRC chief also participated in the celebrations. Later he joined the observance of Good Friday at a local church. He also paid tributes at YSR Ghat. Party sources said Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy would review the lapses from the party side because of which several voters from local bodies reportedly voted for the TD candidate.
