VIJAYAWADA: Tourism minister R.K. Roja threw a selfie challenge at Telugu Desam chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu on welfare and development during his regime and that carried out by Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy now.

She asserted that she will prove fulfilment of poll promises by CM Jagan as mentioned in YSRC manifesto by taking selfies with evidence of promises kept. She dared Naidu to have guts to do the same with what he had promised in the Telugu Desam manifesto.

“I am ready for the selfie challenge even in Nagari or Kuppam assembly constituencies,” Roja declared.

The minister told Naidu, “Bring your manifesto. We will bring our manifesto. We will ask people whose manifesto has been fulfilled. We will take selfies with promises fulfilled in the manifestos. Does Chandrababu have the guts to accept this challenge,” she asked.

Roja asserted that CM Jagan has got such guts, which is why he has ordered a mega survey. Seven lakh people are participating in the survey, she pointed out.

The minister said recently, Chandrababu Naidu threw a selfie challenge at CM Jagan. “Let me tell you, it wasn’t a selfie. It was a SELF-GOAL! Chandrababu took selfies near Tidco houses, which had been completed by the Jagan Mohan Reddy government,” she remarked.

Roja maintained that Naidu’s fake pictures on social media will not work. “He is a failed politician, everyone knows that,” she stated.

The minister accused Chandrababu Naidu and Jana Sena of playing politics with Jagan's stickers. They are secretly pasting stickers and promoting them on their yellow media, she alleged.
