Hyderabad: With elections approaching, the state Congress is revoking the suspension and expulsion of party leaders, which is a common practice. These leaders were suspended or expelled on ground of anti-party activities.
TPCC president N. Uttam Kumar Reddy on Thursday revoked the suspension and expulsion of six leaders. In his orders, he said the disciplinary action of suspension or expulsion against six leaders was revoked and that they were readmitted into the Congress.
These leaders are: former Warangal MP S. Rajaiah, Ranga Reddy district leaders Maireddy Ram Reddy and R. Subhash Reddy, Nalgonda leader A. Gnana Sunder, N. Shyam Sunder of Karimnagar district and Nagesh Shetkar of Medak district.
