Dissent will prove suicidal for coalition, says Vasanthkumar
These leaders are creating an embarrassing situation for the government and the Congress, Mr Vasanthkumar said.
Kalaburagi: Expressing his displeasure over the dissident activity launched by some senior leaders of the Congress over the denial of ministerial berths to them, KPCC General Secretary A Vasanthkumar has warned that such steps would prove “suicidal” for the coalition government as well as for the party in the coming Lok Sabha elections.
In a statement here, Mr Vasanthkumar said the recent developments in the party with some leaders raising the banner of revolt over the denial of ministerial berths is not a good development. “These leaders are creating an embarrassing situation for the government and the Congress. They are experienced enough to know the difficult phase the government is passing through. Inspite of knowing this, these leaders are trying to commit political harakiri.”
