No plan to join TD, says YSRC Nagari MLA Roja
The MLA alleged that the government was misusing funds in the name of Krishna Pushkaralu.
Tirupati: YSR Congress Nagari MLA R.K. Roja has ruled out rumours floated by the TD that she is planning to join their party.
She, along with her family members, visited the holy shrine of Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala Sunday morning. Later, addressing mediapersons, she slammed the TD leaders and some of the TV news channels for spreading wrong information that she may leave the YSR Congress, on which ticket she was elected as MLA.
"The TD leaders are intentionally playing a mind game by floating rumours that I am leaving the YSRC and joining the TD. Why will I leave the YSRC? What has TD done for the development of the state?,"she questioned.
Further, the MLA alleged that the government was misusing funds in the name of Krishna Pushkaralu. "The people are taking holy bath in muddy waters. There is no pure water anywhere in river Krishna. The TD government had failed to provide clena water at least for the people during Pushkaralu. The government has just provided colourful illumination for the river fete," she criticised.
