Pawan Kalyan Misleading People on Rushikonda, Allege Vizag YSRC
Visakhapatnam: YSRC Visakha district in-charge minister Vidudala Rajini, Pendurthi MLA Adeep Raj and former legislator S.A. Rahman have sharply criticised Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan on Monday by saying he was misleading people about the Rishikonda construction.
"Chandrababu and Pawan are undercutting the Chief Minister’s decision to have Vizag as the administrative capital and hence the two are engaged in such campaigns," she said.
The Jana Sena leader was in the city for the Varahi Vijaya Yatra. Pawan Kalyan continued his attack on the YSRC and Jagan Mohan Reddy through lengthy speeches. The YSRC Vizag leadership swiftly pulled up its socks to target and counter the Jana Sena chief.
While speaking to the media, Rajini said, “Chandrababu is a self-proclaimed genius. His hope is that if a lie is uttered repeatedly, it will become a truth. That is why, as per Babu’s script, Pawan is constantly spreading falsehood about the Rushikonda constructions. Fact is that the construction of resorts at Rushikonda was done during the TD term.”
Pendurthi MLA Adeep Raj said, “Pawan Kalyan is calling volunteers as the 'Dandupalayam batch'. Some 2.5 lakh volunteers are at work. People are watching every word of Pawan Kalyan. Why is he mum on the Geetham and Ramoji Film City land issues?”
Former YSRC MLA for Vizag south constituency, S.A. Rahman, said, “Everyone knows Ramanaidu Studio was built on the hills during the TD term. Pawan Kalyan seems to have a mental-disorder, he is forgetting his own words. The then-minister Ayyanna Patrudu himself said grabbing of lands in Visakha took place during Chandrababu’s government. People have not forgotten this. Pawan has Alzheimer’s and Chandrababu has dementia.”
Meanwhile, Visakhapatnam district president of YSRC and DCCB chairman Kola Guruvulu said fishermen from north Andhra were not migrating to other states. Pawan Kalyan was simply misleading the community and the people, he said.
Guruvulu said Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy was making a serious effort to improve the lot of the fishermen community and recently set the stone for the Moolapeta sea port, a fish-landing centre in Srikakulam district and a major port in Machilipatnam.
“Teenagers below age 20 are flocking to his meetings as they admire him as a film star. Pawan is taking advantage of their innocence and telling all baseless stories,’’ Guruvulu said.
