Get ready to fight civic polls, Captain Vijayakanth tells cadres
The cadres should remain united and face the civic polls to prove that the party is a force in the state.
Chennai: As the AIADMK and DMK have started their preparations for the local body elections, DMDK leader Vijayakanth said his party would contest in the polls and asked cadre to get ready for the fight.
The actor who celebrated the 12th founding day of the party on Wednesday, in a statement, said the AIADMK and DMK were planning to wipe out the DMDK in the local body elections.
The cadres should remain united and face the civic polls to prove that the party is a force in the state.
The party also announced that Premalatha Vijayakanth would lead a protest demonstration in Coimbatore against Kerala’s bid to construct a dam across Siruvani river, marking her return to party activities after the Assembly election defeat.
