Hyderabad: Justice K. Lakshman of the Telangana High Court on Tuesday reserved orders to Wednesday, on a petition filed by YSRC rebel MP Kanumuri Raghu Ramakrishna Raju, who sought transfer of his two criminal petitions from the court of the principal judge for CBI cases, Hyderabad, to any other court in the state.

The petitions seek cancellation of bail granted by the CBI court to AP Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and YSRC MP V. Vijayasai Reddy in the alleged quid pro quo cases.

Justice Lakshman asked Raju why he had come to the High Court at the last hour —  the CBI court is to pronounce orders on September 15. Raju’s counsel Siddani Sri Venkatesh said the MP feared he may not get justice in the CBI court. Surendra, CBI counsel, said the petition was filed on assumptions and apprehensions.
