CM surprises TD by agreeing for discussion on issues raised by opposition
The CM said the ruling side is ready to discuss the ESI scam while giving a hint that Atchannaidu was involved in the scam
VIJAYAWADA: In a surprise move, Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy on Thursday agreed to have a discussion in the state assembly on the issues raised by the Opposition Telugu Desam.
At the outset, the business advisory committee meeting headed by assembly Speaker Tammineni Sitaram decided to hold the present session for five days.
The meeting was attended by chief minister Jagan along with BAC members Buggana Rajendranath, Peddireddy Ramachandra, Jogi Ramesh, Prasad Raju and Srikanth Reddy from the ruling side and Atchennaidu from the Telugu Desam.
According to the sources, the CM promised Atchennaidu that every topic raised by the Opposition will be discussed. Jagan’s offer to include all issues raised by the Opposition in the session’s agenda was unusual and surprised everyone.

Ministers in the BAC meeting criticised the behavior of the TD members during the assembly sessions.
The CM said, “If you want the Capital issue, we will put forward that too for a discussion also. But it is also important that the TD members should not resort to disrupting the proceedings of the house.”
