Andhra Pradesh legislative sessions to begin from September 21
Vijayawada: Legislative affairs minister Buggana Rajendranath on Friday announced that the session of the AP State Legislative Assembly will begin at 9 a.m. on September 21.
The session of the AP State Legislative Council too will start on the same day at 10 a.m.
Rajendranath made the announcement after reviewing arrangements for the legislative sessions during a review meeting with officials here.
He said the Business Advisory Committee (BAC) meeting will also be held on September 21. The committee will decide on the number of days on which the two houses will meet and the topics to be discussed.
The minister assured that every issue should be thoroughly discussed while maintaining the dignity and decorum of the legislature.
Chief whip Mudunuri Nagaraja Vara Prasada Raju, whips Janga Krishnamurthy and Kapu Ramachandra Reddy also participated in the review meeting.
