BJP leader throws down gauntlet to Jagan Mohan Reddy
Satya Kumar blamed the CM for not calling the agitating farmers for talks even as they were taking up stir for over 1,000 days
Vijayawada: Turning critical on Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy for failing to develop capital city Amaravati for Andhra Pradesh, BJP national secretary Y. Satya Kumar challenged the CM to take oath on the holy book he believed that he never supported Amaravati and offered to quit politics if he could do so.
The BJP national secretary wrote a letter to the AP Chief Minister on Friday, alleging that the statements being made by the CM and his ministers on the ongoing padayatra by the farmers in support of Amaravati were creating regional hatred and asked him not to create hurdles to the padyatra.
He blamed the CM for not calling the agitating farmers for talks even as they were taking up stir for over 1,000 days and said that it resulted in the problem getting complicated.
He alleged that the YSRC government was resorting to looting of lands and properties in north Andhra region and asked the government as to how many projects it completed in the Rayalaseema region.
