Congress, Left Parties stage sadak bandh to protest BRS failures in job recruitments
Hyderabad: Congress and Left Parties along with few other parties and student organisations blocked many highways as part of their 'sadak bandh' for two hours on Saturday. The blockade on the Mahbubnagar, Warangal, Ramagundam and Khammam highways from 10.30 am to 12.30 pm caused huge traffic jams.
The partis were protestnig the failure of the BRS government in filling vacancies in state offices and conducting recruitment exams properly.
The parties demanded scrapping of the TSPSC board for leakage of question papers, TSPSC overhaul, Rs 3 lakh compensation to TSPSC candidates for cancellation of exams etc. The BSP, TJS, New Democracy Party, Praja Pantha Party and organisations like Telangana People's JAC, student organisations like PDSU, SFI have extended support to sadak bandh.
Police were posted on the highways and took the protesters into custody.
