Kavitha a ‘liquor don’, BRS first wicket down soon: Vijayashanthi
HYDERABAD: BJP executive member Vijayashanthi on Thursday called BRS MLC K. Kavitha “the liquor don of the country,” at an Women’s Day event. “Women never think or involve in liquor affairs, but Kavitha did it in the Delhi liquor scam,” she said.
She also slammed the BRS government over the lack of safety for women.
“K. Chandrashekar Rao failed to initiate action against his party MLA who sexually abused a woman sarpanch. Kavitha is trying to escape from CBI and ED investigation claiming differential treatment as a woman. The family members have a criminal mindset and the first wicket of the family will go down soon,” she said.
Accusing the Chief Minister of adopting a ‘use-and-throw’ policy, she said it was the main reason there was no action against MLAs who harassed women.
“Children are unable to bear the abusive language used by Chandrashekar Rao and IT minister K.T. Rama Rao. He gets a salary of Rs 4 lakh for spending most of his time in his farmhouse, but fails to give salaries timely to employees,” she said.
