Congress implementing “violence guarantee schemeâ€: Kateel
Mangaluru: BJP state president and Dakshina Kannada MP Nalin Kumar Kateel has termed the attack on BJP workers as "violence guarantee scheme" (Himsa Guarantee Scheme) and asked the Congress to ensure such incidents are not allowed.
In a press statement, Nalin expressed concern over the growing trend of attacks on BJP workers, including the recent incident in Hoskote after the Congress party's victory.
"One activist was killed in Hoskote, and two others were severely attacked," Nalin stated.
He cautioned Congress leaders against allowing such acts of violence to prevail and emphasized that anti-national activities were on the rise in different areas of the state and must be curbed.
"Raising the flag of Pakistan is an act of sedition that should be dealt with, and any form of violent sedition cannot be tolerated under any circumstances," he added.
He demanded immediate action from the police department and arrest those who incite violence and support seditious activities.
The BJP state president called on the government and its leaders to take decisive measures to prevent any further escalation of violence and ensure the safety of all citizens.
He also asked the Congress leaders to set aside their differences and fulfil the promises they made in their manifesto.
