Five BRS corporators from Boduppal join Congress

Hyderabad: In a jolt to the BRS and minister Ch Malla Reddy, its candidate, five of its corporators in the Boduppal Municipal Corporation, and a former Kachiguda corporator joined the Congress in the presence of TPCC president A. Revanth Reddy here on Friday.

The BRS corporators include Rasala Venkatesh Yadav, Bingi Jangaiah, Danagalla Anitha Yadagiri, Jadige Mahender Yadav, and Gurrala Rama Venkatesh Yadav.

While welcoming the corporators into the Congress fold, Revanth Reddy lashed out at the government and Malla Reddy for neglecting Medchal.

He alleged that Malla Reddy and his family members had encroached on government land and lakes. Revanth Reddy expressed confidence that Thursday’s developments would boost the prospects of Congress candidates from Medchal and Amberpet constituencies, T. Vajresh Yadav and C. Rohin Reddy, respectively.
